As Mrs. North Carolina 2018, she offered lots of creative insight and sought out numerous television appearances, news articles, and national media opportunities in which I could speak about fertility awareness and gain more exposure. My social media following grew immensely while working with her. I love how she took a very broad vision and helped me hone in on the priorities while aiding in making the vision come to life in a real and applicable way. She supported me in developing a TED talk regarding why women should start asking their doctors sooner about their fertility health. We worked together to help me gain exposure for my campaign #startasking, and she worked with me on the mission statement and the logo.
